The Vision of the book: To give hope to the hopeless, to inspire people who love God but haven't been able to truly tap into HIS love.
During the worst part of my life, was the time that I finally made a change to become a Christian. I didn't want to be just a 'Christian', but since I had made the choice, I wanted to go all in; to become the best Christian I could be. What I noticed was that I would praise and worship God, yet inside I was miserable. I would leave church and be depressed. At any point the tension inside me could provoke a fight with anyone at any point in my day. I didn't feel forgiven, I didn't feel loved. I was incapable of feeling anything except anger. I felt hopeless. A year passed. Throughout this time, I would hear people say things like: the love of God will change you; His presence will set you free; you just need to push in - go deeper. I did. I pushed and pushed, still nothing changed. Anger and misery consumed me. The only difference was I became more adept at hiding it with a smile or a joke. Finally after praying, reading, begging and crying out to God, He gave me 14 steps that would change my life and set me free, 14 steps that gave me hope for the first time in my life.
I want to develop a guidebook to give hope back to the hopeless. To encourage people to wake up and get back in the game of life, to give life back to the people who have died inside. This book is for the Christian that suffers from defeat, misery, pain, lack of support, or addiction. It impacts anything and everything that is holding you back in life that you wish to get set free from and move on. This book is for the person who is trying to be the best they can be in life, who are actually going to church, praying, reading their bibles, but for some reason they still cannot find that breakthrough or experience freedom which is promised to us in the word of God. They are still miserable, they are spiritually dead. This is for the Christian that hears the word, knows about God's love, yet deep down inside of them there is still emptiness, hatred, pain and anger. At times they feel as though death is their only way of escape, death seems to offer freedom. Through this book I will provide practical Biblical principles that will allow God to fully set those people free that are emotionally dead. It is my hope and prayer that they will experience a new life. This book will give you purpose and encourage you to start living a life that is free. This book is a guide to the blind and a light to those who are in darkness.
